OT Golf Team qualifies for Grafton Morrish finals

The Trent OT Team successfully qualified at Fixby Golf Club, Huddersfield, for the final knock out stages of the Grafton Morrish to take place the 26th – 28th September at Hunstanton and Brancaster GC. A full list of qualifiers can be found on the www.graftonmorrish.org.uk website.
The team comprised Chris Swallow and Greg Roberts (23pts), Ali Wakefield and Ian Birch (26 pts) and Stuart Carlisle and Jon Carter (28 pts). Giving an aggregate score of 77 which was enough to qualify in 5th place after count back. The unlucky team being Bradford.

    I am joined by the Members of the OT Society in congratulating the OT team in qualifying for the Grafton Morrish finals.This is a remarkable achievement and puts Trent firmly on the golfing map.Winning,could result in more than national recognition.Well done Lads and thanks to the back room staff and supporters.

    I would like to join Rex in congratulations, particularly as I see from the GM website that we edged out Ampleforth – who were the team that finally defeated us in this year’s Halford Hewitt competition
